Meet Our Staff
Joshua Earman
Joshua is the Team Leader for Cru in Richmond, directing staff and student leaders in the mission of Cru. He is married to Katie and they have four wonderful children. He graduated from James Madison University, as well as Covenant Theological Seminary. His 20 years of ministry have included leading a campus ministry in Asia, serving as an Assistant Pastor at two congregations, and launching multiple international student ministries. Joshua loves Jesus and wants students to know Christ and understand how to study the Bible and live purposefully for their faith.
Lindsay Spurlock
Lindsay graduated from JMU with a business degree in Hospitality and Tourism Management. Although she loved event coordinating at the time, the Lord redirected her to work for Cru back at JMU! After 8 years as staff at JMU, Cru asked her husband, Brandon, and her to move to Richmond, VA to launch Cru on the campuses in the Richmond Metro area. She has been serving with Cru primarily at VCU since 2014. Lindsay and Brandon have two kids, Ryah, 13, and Roman, 9, who keep them busy ubering around the city. Lindsay loves running, most outdoor activities, loud music, coffee, and her cat, Cookie.
Hailee Gann
Hailee graduated from Virginia Tech in 2019 and joined staff with Cru in 2020 here in Richmond. She primarily works with students at the University of Richmond and loves helping students learn about who Jesus truly is. Hailee met her husband, Josh, while in Cru at Virginia Tech, and they’re expecting a baby boy in November. In her free time, she enjoys being outside in nature, reading, and spending time with her dog, Winston.
Alicia Henderson
Alicia graduated from George Mason University and has served with Cru overseas in various parts of the world. She now serves with Bridges International in Richmond, where she loves sharing the Gospel with international students and helping them grow in their relationship with Jesus. Alicia is passionate about helping students from around the world encounter Christ and find community. In her free time, she enjoys reading, being outside, and spending time with friends and family. She and her husband, Charlie, love life with their baby, Clay!
Raelene Harris
Raelene graduated from Liberty University with degrees in International Business and Global Studies and joined Cru staff at VCU in 2026. Originally from Ohio, Raelene and her siblings were adopted from China and Taiwan, which is how the Lord first placed a heart for missions in her. She is passionate about reaching the nations with the Gospel and equipping students to do the same. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with friends, being active, reading, traveling, and photography.
Kaylan Brown
Originally from Hampton, VA, Kaylan graduated from Radford University with a degree in Business Management and is excited to be serving with Cru at VCU for his second year as an intern after previously serving at Radford. He is passionate about helping students grow in their relationship with Jesus. As the oldest of seven siblings, family is a big part of his life. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with friends and family, playing basketball, working out, making music, dancing, playing 2K, and watching anime.
Loren Vincent
Loren is from Portsmouth, VA, and studied Health Science at VCU. During her time as a student, she served as a Bible study leader with Cru and decided to intern for a year to help other students grow in their relationship with Jesus, just as she did. She is passionate about investing in students and helping them grow in their faith. One of her favorite Bible verses is 2 Timothy 1:7, which reminds her that God has given us a spirit of power, love, and sound judgment rather than fear. In her free time, Loren enjoys arts and crafts, playing pickleball, and trying new restaurants. A fun fact about Loren is that she has a twin sister!
